Terms of Service
These terms apply to the AutoSnag apps and web app (“AutoSnag”, “the service”), provided by AutoSnag, a business operating in Ireland (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the company you use it for. Contact: support@autosnag.app.
1. The service
AutoSnag helps property snagging surveyors record defects, produce survey reports, manage bookings and send reports to their customers. We may improve and change the service over time; if a change materially reduces what a paying company receives, we will tell the account owner in advance.
2. Accounts and seats
- A company's owner creates the company account and invites team members, each with their own seat. Seats are for one named person and must not be shared.
- You are responsible for keeping sign-in details secure and for what is done under your account. Tell us promptly at security@autosnag.app if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. Trial, subscription and payment
- New companies may start with a free trial. After it, continued use requires a paid subscription, billed per seat through Stripe at the price shown when subscribing.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from Settings › Billing. Cancelling stops future charges; the service stays available until the end of the period already paid for.
- If payment fails, the company's account may become read-only until payment is made.
- Questions about charges or invoices: billing@autosnag.app.
4. Your data
- Your company owns the data it puts into AutoSnag: its properties, customers, surveys, photos and reports. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and process your customers' personal data on your behalf.
- You are responsible for having a lawful basis to record your customers' details and to contact them, and for the accuracy of what you enter.
- You can export your company's data at any time from Settings › Company Data.
5. Reports and professional judgement
AutoSnag is a tool. Survey findings, severities, descriptions and conclusions in a report are the responsibility of the surveyor and company that produce it. Suggested defect descriptions are a starting point and must be checked against what was actually found.
6. Sending email
If you connect an email account or use AutoSnag to prepare emails, you are responsible for the content of the emails you send and for sending them only to recipients you are entitled to contact. AutoSnag sends only emails you choose to send, and never reads your mailbox.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use AutoSnag to break the law, to send unsolicited bulk email, to upload material you have no right to use, to attempt to access another company's data, or to interfere with the service or its security.
8. Availability
We work to keep AutoSnag available and your data backed up, but the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance will be kept to a minimum.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or goodwill, and our total liability in any twelve months is limited to the fees the company paid for the service in that period.
10. Ending the service
A company may stop using AutoSnag at any time by cancelling its subscription. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms, after notice where reasonable. After an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy; export it first if you need a copy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date, and account owners will be told of significant changes before they take effect.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
